Review: We tried Collagen Joint Care by Nature’s Finest
The powder for the preparation of the drink mainly contains a patented form of collagen Fortigel®, thanks to which is supposed to effectively help improve the mobility of joints and protect them from damage. According to the manufacturer, this dietary supplement is intended for anyone who wants to maintain the health and mobility of their joints or strengthen them. The product targets mainly the condition of your cartilage.
We tested Collagen Joint Care for you and also took a closer look at its composition and effects.

Composition of Collagen Joint Care and effects of the ingredients
Half of the composition of the product consists of Fortigel®, which is a natural patented form of hydrolyzed collagen peptides type II. Collagen occurs in various forms in the body and we distinguish over a dozen of its types. Type II collagen is mainly found in cartilage. In this product, it is present in small collagen particles, peptides, which are easily absorbed.
The second important component is MSM (31.5 %). This is the abbreviation for methylsulfonylmethane, which is an organic sulfur compound. MSM is recommended for joint disease (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis) or muscle pain, and may slightly reduce joint pain and swelling in osteoarthritis. MSM takes care of the condition of joints, tendons, cartilage, skin and hair.
The composition is supplemented with dried rose hips (10 %). These are rich in vitamin C, which is essential for joints and ligaments. If there are at least 9 mg of vitamin C per dose of any product, it can be said to contribute to the normal production of collagen for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin, and teeth. One serving of this drink contains 58 mg of vitamin C.
The flavour is provided by a natural orange aroma (5 %), bamboo fibre acts as an anti-caking agent and the composition is rounded off by a sweetener from stevia in the form of steviol glycosides.
In terms of energy and nutritional value, one serving of the drink prepared according to the instructions has approximately 17 kcal/72 kJ and 1.4 g of carbohydrates but thanks to the sweetener used, it contains almost no sugars. Other macronutrients are represented in negligible amounts. In addition, one dose provides the body with about 73 % of the recommended daily intake of vitamin C.

Use and dosage of Collagen Joint Care
It is recommended to drink the drink once a day.
The manufacturer states that to obtain 5 g of collagen peptides, we should mix 10 g of the powder with water or another favourite beverage and let the mixture stand for two minutes before drinking so that the collagen powder dissolves completely. Unfortunately, the product does not contain a measuring cup, so we have to estimate the recommended amount. From our experience, we can advise that this is an amount equivalent to about one tablespoon.
The package has a total of 140 g, which means 14 doses of nutritious drink, so it is intended for two weeks of use. At the price of £16 per pack, it comes to less than £1.10 per dose.
For a better price, you can buy a package of two pieces for £21.30, and the price for one prepared drink is reduced to less than £0.75 per dose.

Our own experience with Collagen Joint Care
The light orange powder smells very pleasantly of oranges and dissolves well when mixed with water. Even the taste is excellent, delicate, and not too sweet. After drinking, a little insoluble pulp remains at the bottom of the cup, which is probably round dried rose hips or bamboo fibre.
Long-term use is desirable for this dietary supplement to achieve maximum effects and will probably not be a problem for anyone, thanks to its pleasant taste.
Another advantage is that the prepared drink does not have too many calories and the amount of sugar is completely negligible thanks to the use of steviol glycoside. By comparison, just 100 ml of flavoured mineral water contains about the same amount of energy and about three times more carbohydrates, most of which are sugars.
You can then expect the first effects on the condition of your joints after about two weeks. Users achieve optimal results after about two months of regular use, which corresponds to four used packs.
