Review: We tried the Bio Detox Drink Mix from Nature’s Finest
The powder for the preparation of the drink consists of a mixture of green superfoods for detoxifying the body, supplemented with the exotic fruit lucuma. According to the manufacturer, the prepared drink should protect cells from oxidative damage, support the body’s detoxification, and strengthen the immune system. Moreover, green foods also supply the body with a high amount of protein, dietary fiber, iron, vitamin C, and chlorophyll.
We have tested the Bio Detox Drink Mix ourselves and want to present our findings to you.

Ingredients of Bio Detox Drink Mix and their effects
The dominant ingredient in the blend is wheatgrass (45%). This organically grown, carefully dried and ground ingredient contains a lot of chlorophyll, but also many enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. It can help against acidification of the body, reduce oxidative stress, detoxify the body, support its functions, and slow down aging.
Another ingredient is barley grass (20%). Green barley, just like wheat, is a natural source of nutrients, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, which act synergistically and are an ideal natural supplement for a healthy diet.
Two green algae are also an integral part of this supplement. Spirulina (15%) effectively promotes weight control and weight loss, helps to maintain healthy blood sugar levels, and improves energy metabolism. It contains large quantities of nutrients and supplies the body with B vitamins, vitamin K, iron, high amounts of fiber, and amino acids. With its nutritional composition, spirulina helps the human body cope with stress, supports its natural vitality and immunity, and helps it fight anemia.
Chlorella (10%) helps to cleanse and regenerate the body, regulate digestion and bowel movement, provides the body with antioxidant protection, strengthens immunity, helps against fatigue, exhaustion and stress, supports metabolism, and has a positive effect on anemia. It supplies the body with some important substances, such as fiber, folic acid, iron, important amino acids, and also the so-called chlorella growth factor which promotes cell renewal.
The product also contains the exotic fruit lucuma (10%) that originates from Peru and is used as a natural sweetener.
All ingredients are farmed organically. Furthermore, the product does not contain any artificial food colorings, thickeners, or preservatives. The company declares that it takes the utmost care of the environment and works directly with local farmers and growers, which gives it the opportunity to oversee the entire production process while ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and traceability.
In terms of energy and nutritional values, one cup of this supplement prepared according to the instructions contains about 14 kcal / 59 kJ, 1.8 g of protein, 1.2 g of fiber, and about 0.8 g of carbohydrates. Other nutrients are present in negligible amounts. At the same time, one dose provides the body with about 20% of the recommended daily intake of vitamin C, 10% of iron, and about 40 mg of chlorophyll.

Use and dosage of Bio Detox Drink Mix
It is recommended to drink the superfood mix once, maximum twice a day. Furthermore, it is the most effective when drank on an empty stomach right before breakfast.
The manufacturer recommends mixing one teaspoon of the powder (5 g) with water, or with lemon or orange juice in order to achieve a better taste. Alternatively, the powder can be mixed into a smoothie.
The package has a total of 125 g, i.e. 25 doses of the detox drink. At a price of around £16 per package, one dose costs less than £0.70.

Our own experience with Bio Detox Drink Mix
The dark green powder has a strong “grass” scent even in its dry state. After mixing one teaspoon with water, we got a drink that has a strong “green” taste, but the taste was milder than we expected. To those who believe they could have a problem with the flavor, we recommend adding the powder into fresh fruit juice or to include it in their morning smoothie which will alleviate the strong taste a little. We also found it better to mix the powder with the liquid in a blender or use a cocktail shaker instead of just mixing it with a spoon in a glass. Otherwise, some of the powder will remain at the bottom of the glass.
While the strong “green” taste is quite prevalent, you can get used to it after some time. It is advisable to drink plenty of liquids during the detoxification treatment to avoid possibly unpleasant side effects. Due to the increased fiber intake, constipation or bloating may occur without an adequate drinking regime, furthermore, your skin condition may also temporarily worsen as your body will be flushing out toxins. On the other hand, some people may need to use the toilet more often than usual, but this is also a part of the detoxification process.
With regular use and sufficient water intake, the bowel emptying stabilizes, energy increases, and the skin becomes clearer. Overall, we feel better and more resilient. Something that we evaluate very positively is the fact that the product is purely composed of natural ingredients, and does not contain any additional excipients.
