What is your guarantee/returns policy?

We want you to love our products as much as we do, and believe our quality is second to none. We’re so confident of this, we offer a no quibble six-month quality guarantee – that even applies to items purchased during the sale.

We do keep an eye on returns within this timeframe. If customers are found to be abusing the generosity of our six month returns guarantee, we reserve the right to refuse further returns from them.

Exchanges at Charles Tyrwhitt are always free, you can also return to any Charles Tyrwhitt store free of charge.

For returns where refunds have been requested we've had to introduce a small returns handling fee of £3.95, this is to cover our rising shipping and handling expenses and non-recoverable costs. This will only apply on a per parcel basis, remember postage is still free when you return via our returns website.

Please note, products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full and the £3.95 handling fee will not apply.

Yes! You can return to any Charles Tyrwhitt store free of charge. If you are returning to store, please remember to bring a proof of purchase along with you. This could be a receipt, confirmation email or an order number.

Absolutely - as long as you have included a note with details we can use to identify you, this will be no problem. Name and address is usually enough for this, if you know your order number or Charles Tyrwhitt customer reference this would be extra helpful. Sure, as long as your items are within the 6 month return period then we can accept them back for a refund or exchange (please see below questions for exceptions to this answer).
If you have ordered a Charles Tyrwhitt Custom Shirt, you will only be able to return or exchange your item if there is a manufacturing defect. If you ordered non custom items on the same order, then of course, our normal guarantee would apply to those items only.

Monogrammed items can not be exchanged or refunded.

Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons we can not accept facemasks back for return.

Products purchased that have been altered in any way (including, but not limited to, sleeve shortening, addition of pockets, trouser alternations, jacket alterations and shortening of shirt tails), are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. There may be circumstances where we can arrange a replacement if the product has a manufacturing defect. You will need to contact us to arrange a return in these circumstances.

We are unable to accept any items back that have been altered by a third party.
